Abutilon ‘Kentish Belle’

Commonly known as the Chinese Lantern, also known as the Flowering Maple, it is a semi-evergreen shrub with arching stems of dark green three lobed leaves.
Pendent bell-shaped orange-yellow flowers with a red calyx.
Full sun, half hardy, so needs protection from frosts but it is hardier than some other Abutilons.
May survive in sheltered gardens with a mulch to protect it in Winter.
Can be bought into cool greenhouse or conservatory.

Flowering: June – September.
Height/Spread: 2.5m (8′)
