We currently have our classic Red Poinsettia plants in for December priced at £4.50 only available until Christmas. Keeping Poinsettia: Keep at a consistent room temperature. Avoid drafts and being too close to radiators. Water as necessary (usually twice weekly) Water by standing the pot in a saucer then tip surplus away.
There are only 3 weeks until Christmas day, Matthew’s Plants still has a good range of Christmas trees left in various sizes starting from £30. Christmas Wreath’s are also available starting at £7.50
Winter Baskets are now available, full of colour which will continue through the Winter and up to the Spring with the appropriate care. We have 14″ wicker baskets at £24 and larger 16″ baskets priced at £28. There are also various size Winter pots and tubs available starting from £10
Matthew’s Plants currently has one of the best selections of Penstemons available in Essex. A huge range in many different colours and shades are now flowering and at a very good healthy size. All varieties are in 1 litre pots priced at just £2.50 with a few varieties in 3 litre pots priced at £4.00
Matthew’s Wallflowers are available and growing nicely getting ready to flower. Varieties include: Sugar Rush Mix, Citrus Mix, Tutti Frutti Mix, Sunset Orange, Primrose & Yellow which all come in packs of 6 priced at £2.00 per pack.
There are many new shrubs and perennials available for sale in various sizes and all reasonably priced with some really nice quality plants for the garden in the Autumn and Winter months. Winter bedding plants are also now available including Euonymus, Skimmia, trailing Ivy, Cineraria and the many varieties of Winter Pansies & Violas.
Please have a browse through the plant list which has recently been updated with all new shrubs, perennials and alpines. Grow bags are now also available along with new climbers and we have just potted our first batch of Pansies, Violas and Cyclamen.
