The blooms are contrasted against the dark green foliage. It makes an excellent cut flower, as well as a superb Winter perennial. A classic plant for Winter interest, with the ‘Frostkiss’ variety having sensational marbled foliage and elegant, nodding blooms in shades of green, white, pink or ruby. These perennials have a long flowering period, lasting well into Spring. Mainly evergreen with they’re handsome leaves, they thrive in shadier spots. A hardy plant, with a compact habit and foliage remaining all year and are Deer resistant. Remove old faded flower stems after flowering to encourage next year’s new growth.
